At Copenhagen Seed Company, we want our customers to shop with confidence. This Refund and Returns Policy explains your right of withdrawal, how to return an item, how refunds are processed, and what to do if you believe there is a problem with your order.

Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us online.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive your order.

If you have ordered several items in one order and they are delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts from the day you receive the final item.

If your order is delivered in several batches or parts, the withdrawal period starts from the day you receive the last batch or final part.

To use your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You can do this by sending an email to:

Your order number
Your full name
The email address used for the order
The item or items you wish to return

You cannot withdraw from your purchase simply by refusing to receive the parcel. You must also inform us that you wish to cancel the purchase.

Withdrawal from Part of an Order

If you purchased several items from us, you may return one or more items, even if they were bought as part of the same order.

Please note that delivery costs are not refunded if you only withdraw from part of your purchase.

How to Return an Item

Once you have informed us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us.

This helps us identify your return and process it faster.

When returning an item, please include:

Your order number
Your full name
Your email address
A short note explaining whether the return is a withdrawal or a complaint

You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs.

You are also responsible for the item until it has been delivered to us, so we recommend using a shipping method with tracking.

We only accept parcels sent directly to this address.

We do not accept parcels sent to parcel shops, pickup points, or similar collection locations unless this has been agreed with us in advance.

You may also return the item in person to the above address by prior agreement.

No Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire quickly.

Where a product is exempt from the right of withdrawal, this will apply in accordance with Danish consumer law.

Condition of Returned Items

You are allowed to inspect the item in the same way as you would in a physical shop.

If the item has lost value because it has been handled beyond what was necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and function, you may only receive a partial refund.

The amount refunded depends on the commercial value of the returned item.

We recommend returning the item in its original packaging.

If the original packaging is missing or damaged, this may reduce the value of the item and therefore reduce the amount refunded.

Refunds

If you withdraw from your purchase, we will refund the payment received from you, including standard delivery costs.

However, we do not refund extra delivery costs if you chose a delivery method that was more expensive than the cheapest standard delivery option offered by us.

The refund will be made no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice that you wish to withdraw from the agreement.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item, or until you have provided documentation showing that the item has been sent back.

Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

If the item has lost value due to handling beyond what was necessary, we may deduct the loss in value from the refund.

Right of Complaint

When you shop with us as a consumer, the rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act apply.

This means that you have a 24-month right of complaint if the product has a defect that was present at the time of purchase.

Your right of complaint does not cover damage caused by incorrect handling, misuse, lack of care, normal wear and tear, or circumstances that occurred after you received the product.

You must complain within a reasonable time after discovering the defect.

If you complain within two months after discovering the defect, the complaint will always be considered timely.

A description of the problem
Photos or documentation, if relevant

If the complaint is justified, we will find a solution in accordance with Danish consumer law.

Depending on the specific situation, this may be:

Repair
Replacement
Refund
Price reduction

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your reasonable return shipping costs.

Please remember to keep your shipping receipt so we can refund the shipping cost if your complaint is approved.
